The Warriors eventually recorded an impressive win in a great contest at Tumble.

The Warriors won the toss and elected to kick off. straight away there was a continuity to the Warriors attack and some good forwarding rucking and slick backs hands led to an early pen outside the 22 but Mosser couldn't convert the opportunity.
Immediately from the long 22m drop out the Warriors attacked again down the middle through strong forward carries which led to a penalty that was taken quickly and passed to Jamie Evans who ran in unopposed to score a try which Jenkins converted. Tumble then started to play rugby from all areas of the park. A scrum outside the 22m saw a sharp 8/9 move and back to the supporting number 8 to score in the corner.
The game was very open and some back chat to the ref saw Tumble take a quick pen and some silky hands by the young backs saw them score under the posts and added the conversation.
Strong defensive work form the Warriors saw them force a lineout on the Tumble line and a set move saw Mark Lewis crash over, Jenkins again improving. Tumble continually tried to push the laws when in defence which saw the referee have no option but to produce a yellow card and Mosser kicked the resulting penalty. From the kick off the Warriors where once again on the charge through the strong carrying of flanker Laswon but he was denied a score as the ref ruled a double movement. Tumble took the opportunity, ran a quick penalty and went the length of the pitch to score just before the half time whistle.

A short straight down the middle kick off from Tumble was gathered back by Evans and after the backs worked together to recycle the ball a big carry by the forwards took it just outside the 22 where Whittaker was released down his wing to score in the corner but he was unable to convert his own score. The Warriors went back to basics and kept the ball for several phases from the kick off. They worked their way down field and some consistency paid off with Darren Pollitt using his elusive side step and pace to cross in the corner.
At this point the game tightened up with defences to the fore and the next score came when the Warriors forwards eventually forced a penalty which Whittaker slotted.
Tumble hit straight back with Evans falling for a second dummy they breached the defence and evaded the cover to score. With the scores close the game remained tight until a rare mistake by the Tumble scrum half saw a knock on, Warriors Captain Mosser seized on the ball on the 40 meter line and after a flying start he only just outpaced the cover for a score which Jenkins converted.
As the game seemed finally out of Tumble's reach so it opened up again. Some end to end stuff was breath taking from both sides at times and it was surprising that there was only one further score. A penalty after a crocked scrum feed was quickly taken by Jenkins who carried strongly into the 22 and he off loaded to Lewis who busted a gut to make the line and despite Mosser missing the conversion it ended up as an impressive win for the Warriors.
