Although the Warriors would have been keen for some payback after they were unfortunate not to win their last encounter with the bumbles back in March - the logistics of further travel as well as significantly smaller squad meant few would have expected it to materialise.
As it turned out though it was a disappointing tournament for the Bumbles who came into this match having lost the opener to The Clan.
The Warriors made a strong start and got on the board early when Chris Hancock was driven over. Early pressure resulted in a penalty on the line and when it looked like Hancock had been held up Lee Rowlands added the extra bulk to ensure the score. Graham Mossa converting.
Mossa secured himself Man Of The Match in a busy game with an athletic try scored from halfway. Picking up from a scrum he stepped clear, stepped the full back and outpaced the cover for a fantastic score which he improved. Karl Davies also scored a short effort again converted.
The Bumbles scored a late consultation try but their best moment was James Morton's hit on Jamie Evans.
