Burry Port was the venue for the Port Talbot Panthers 1st ever away match and the Warriors were very proud to host them.
With the teams having played out a draw in the previous fixture a close game was anticipated and so it proved. The Warriors have only won on tour in Ireland this season, so were keen to get a result whilst the Panthers had yet to taste defeat in their short history.
The Warriors produced probably their best display of the term in this match with a strong defensive effort up front the key to victory.
Full back Tom Roper was named man of the match on his debut whilst Captain Richard Evans played his 220th game for the Warriors.
