Warriors' Women Help Secure Win

By Gwilym Lewis

History made with 4 women amongst 7 debuts and a 6th match unbeaten

With Gwilym away on a Stag Weekend, the match report was very flimsy - see "Last Time Out - Off the Ball" photo (printed in the next match program).

Phil Ruddal scored a long interception try on his debut
Ed McVicar managed to score a try and get Man of the Match, despite coming on as 3rd choice tight head
Tanya missed kick off and then played in the forwards, despite being picked on the wing
Rob Bevan managed to hack the ball 50 meters away from Hafan's try line

After all the fuss about women playing for Hafan y Clue (Sorry) - in the end only Kelly(?) played, coming on as a 2nd half sub.
The Warriors dominated the 1st half but only scored once, then in an evenly matched 2nd half, managed 3 more tries

Anyone with anymore recollections or photos - please get in touch!
