It was another game were structure in defence was disregarded and the ball was spun with abandon. The tries came throughout the match, headed by Nathan Murphy, whose hatrick helped him land the man of the match.

Betws played a full part in this encounter, which was in the balance until the last 10 minutes. Mathew Jones and Mark Thomas rolled back the years with vintage performances, Rich Griffiths showed off his twinkle toes on the wing and Dylan Rees orchestrated things from scrum half.
Dion Mitchell-Lewis scored the pick of the home teams scores with notable efforts from Mathew Rees, Dale Barfoot and Nic Dcruz.

No surprise that most of the scores went to the backs. As well as centre Murphy, the back 3 of Dan John, James Anthony and Cane Rodwell all crossed. Morgan got a brace from the back row and Lloyd Crawley's late try finally sealed the result.

There were fine performances from Tom Davies, Dai Haines, Mat Miller and Jon Kearney that laid the foundations for the win in what was generally an impressive game.

Off field money was raised for Ryan4Leukaemia with raffle, program sales and BBQ all helping the cause. It made for a good atmosphere and a very enjoyable day all round.
