The clubs had met at the 1st MARWT in 2015 which ended in a draw and effectively knocked the Warriors out of the Cup.

Chivasso Rugby is the first and oldest Mixed Ability rugby team in Italy, created to welcome in the rugby family anyone who has a passion for the game! Over the past 13 years, the team has given not just opportunities to hundreds of players, but a new family and a sense of belonging. Since 2009, Chivasso Rugby have collected more than 100 matches, won trophies, supported the creation of other Mixed Ability teams in Italy, some of whom are present with us in Cork! We have participated to the first and the second IMART world tournament, always finishing in the top four, and this year we have travelled with 36 players for the men’s team and 28 for the women’s. We have spent thousands of hours training, laughing, struggling and fighting together. And each and every one of us can be proud of recognising himself represented in the values we have built, and that we breathe and live! And we are open to the world! Since Bradford 2015, when we welcomed our Argentinian friends, we have learned that inclusion means giving opportunities for traveling together. Today, we have retained the same ethos, and we embrace new teammates from the whole North of Italy, Brescia, Padua, and even from Malta, to give them the opportunity not just to watch the tournament, but to live it! For this reason, we have included in our new logo the river Po, that flows next to our pitches and unites all the other regions. But we are also proud of the Harlequeens Latina, who are trailblazers in their own right, and for the first time carry the flag of Mixed Ability in the inaugural women’s tournament. Italy, Ecuador, Argentina, all united in the love of rugby, and a Latin spirit, ready to make history!
