Brief update including preview of today's game at Llandyrnog

3 months into the new season and work is still in progress at CPD Llanfairpwll ... new players are now beginning to settle in; Arwel, Dylan and Iwan Williams (Banks'), Alex Jones , Mark Jones, Tom Lewis, Dylan Williams and most recently Dan Hughes.

We have now played 10 games with only 4 pts on the board. We are playing some good football at times but fail to turn this into winning games and much needed points. With holidays, injuries, work/family commitments and suspensions it has been impossible to field a settled team, but once this can be addressed I'm sure the squad will knuckle down to the hard work and the standards required to play in the Welsh Alliance Division 1.

We have also released some players to other clubs; Carwyn Roberts and Sion Jones have joined our neighbours CPD Gaerwen and we wish both players the best of luck with their new club. Yesterday Tom Verburg was released to join Bangor University of The Gwynedd League and we also wish Tom every success with his new club.

We have however added new players to the squad since the start of the season; 19 yr old midfielder Dan Hughes from Menai Bridge Tigers who made his debut v Llandudno Junction but was unfortunate to receive a Red Card. We welcome Dan back into the squad today after completing a 3 match ban. We would like to thank Menai Bridge Tigers managers Sean and Aron as well as secretary Graham Hughes for waiving the 7 days in Dan's transfer to Llanfair .. Diolch yn Fawr .

Last night we have also completed the signing of 23 year old striker Sion Davies from Holyhead Hotspurs and again we would like to thank Hotspurs Manger Andy and Secretary Mr Dick Parry for waiving the 7 days which allows Sion to join the squad for today's game at Llandyrnog.!

We have had our fixtures for November and need to focus on these and hopefully we can start to turn our season around.

Today we are at Llandyrnog FC who we beat at home earlier in the season. Like ourselves, Llandyrnog are looking to kick start their season and today's match will no doubt be a tough encounter for both clubs.
