Good 2nd half performance not enough to overturn Llanrug's 2 nil half time advantage

2 avoidable 1st half goals for Llanrug were enough to seal the points for the visitors today.

Callum Davidson's great goal in the second period following a Llanrug goal against the run of play was unfortunately the only Llanfair goal of the game. Despite having the majority of possession in the second half and also the best chances we were unable to turn opportunities into goals and the game ended up 3 - 1 to the visitors.

Next week we travel to Denbigh where all the pressure will be on the big-spending hosts as they look to push on for the Division 1 title. At least we have a good second half performance to take with us to Denbigh where we all know it'll be a big challenge for us to take all 3 points back home with us.

Big thanks to all the supporters who turned out to see us today; and also in previous weeks, hopefully we can provide a more favourable spectacle in the weeks to come.

The club will be providing a bus for players, committee members and supporters when we travel to Barmouth on Saturday 7th December. There will be a 35 seater going, so after players and coaches/manager we expect room for about 15 others. The bus will be looking to make several stops on the way back for liquid refreshments in a number of the fine public houses between Barmouth and Llanfairpwll - notably the Griffin in Penrhyndeudraeth where a pint of lager was only £2.30 when we were there earlier in the season!!

The price on the seats will be made known in the next week or so for anybody interested in travelling with us. Please let Darren Moore, Alun Mummery or myself aware of your interest and we'll try to reserve you a seat.
