Football Returns

I would like to extend a warm welcome to Llangefni Town here to Tanllan tomorrow. They didn't make it down to the Tanat Valley last season, so it will be great to finally welcome here to the Tanat Valley. Croeso cynnes i chi gyd ac rydym yn gobeithio eich bod yn mwynhau eich dydd yma gyda ni.

Tomorrow's match sponsor is TREVOR EVANS. Trev is a long time supporter of the club and we are once again very grateful for his continued support. Diolch yn fawr iawn Trev.

Tomorrow is a big day in the history of CPD Llanrhaeadr. 2020 has certainly been a strange old year. Almost 10 months have passed since we last played football - it certainly feels like an age ago. Tomorrow will bring some mixed feelings - excitement and apprehension. It certainly be great to be out watching some football once again. However there will be huge responsibility upon us to ensure that the game will organised and hosted in the safest possible way. I am confident that we will be able to do this and I would like to thank everyone who has helped to ensure that we have managed to put the game on - diolch y fawr iawn i chi gyd.

Tomorrow will certainly be strange. Unfortunately, you the supporters will not to be able to attend the game tomorrow. We are governed by Welsh Government rules and regulations which restricts the numbers at the ground to 60. I hope that we will soon be able to welcome you back to the Theatre of Trees but for now the best way you can support the club is to stay at home and stay safe.

Over the summer, Dan Graham decided to leave the club. I would like to thank Dan for his efforts during the time with the club - you certainly made a great impact on the club. We wish you well in the future and there will be a warm welcome waiting for you on your return. Marc has bolstered his coaching staff with 2 appointments. Firstly, I would like to welcome Nick Jones to the club. Nick joins us from Corwen, and he comes with a wealth of knowledge. Secondly we have added to the coaching team from within. Calum Vaughan has made the switch from playing to coaching. As you well know, Calum is a local boy with a vast experience of coaching youth football. We now have a very young coaching team who have great enthusiasm and hunger. We wish all 3 a very successful season. Pob lwc i chi gyd.

Preparations on the playing side have been hampered by the English Lockdown. We have only been back in training for two weeks and the boys have made excellent progress in the time. I am confident that the boys will perform once again. I would also like to thank the boys for completing their daily health questionnaires, a prerequisite to ensure that the game goes on tomorrow.

So finally I would like to wish both teams all the very best to tomorrow's game. It is no mean achievement to get the game on. I hope we all enjoy the game and I am sure that it will be a day that will live long in the memory.

Mwynhewch y gem.
