Tody the club revealed it's new first team management team after the departure of Dan Graham. After much deliberation Marc Griffiths approached two new faces. First to join the club is former Corwen manager Nick Jones. Nick is a young coach with a wealth of knowledge and is busy working his way through the coaching badges. On his arrival Nick commented "I am really excited for the challenge ahead. The club performed brilliantly last season and I will be looking to carry on the great work. As a club, we are aware of the challenges that lie ahead but I am really looking forward to getting to work with the lads and working with them."
Secondly is a promotion from within the club. Calum Vaughan has played for the reserves for several years but has made the step up to the coaching team. Calum said "This is a great opportunity for me to develop myself as a coach and I too am looking forward to the challenge. We've got a great group of boys here and I can't wait to get started. It's been really difficult with the English lockdown but are are looking forward to getting everyone together."
Marc commented on the new arrivals "We've got an exciting young team of progressive coaches and I am excited to finally get going again. We realise that we have another tough challenge ahead of us. A club like ours is always going to find it difficult in terms of recruiting players. We've been in a very difficult position until recently being unable to get all the boys together. I am looking forward to working with Nick, Calum and the boys once again."
We would like to welcome Nick and Calum to the coaching team and wish them all the best for the season ahead. Pob lwc!
