Last night the boys made the long midweek journey to face league new boys Colwyn Bay. Colwyn Bay had the lion's share of possession from the off but again were unable to break a disciplined Llan rear guard. Then on 37 minutes Llan took the lead on the break with an excellent strike by Iwan Matthews from 20 yards.

The second half was only 5 minutes old when the official made a big call. He decided to give Tom Evans his second yellow card for what he deemed timewasting. This was now a big ask with 40 minutes remaining against a very good home side. Within 10 minutes the hosts were on level terms and looking for the win. However there was some excellent defending from the lads and goalkeeping from Jimmy to ensure that we came away with the spoils.

A massive well done to everyone involved. We now host Conwy Borough on Saturday at the 'Theatre of Trees' ko 2.30
