Llan made the journey to Flint looking to stop a four game losing streak. Flint dominated the possession early and Jimmy Hayns was called into a good save on 4 minutes. Llan were looking organised at the back and they slowly worked their way back into the game. New signing Matt Jones was looking dangerous down the right and a good ball from him allowed Iwan Matthews to race through and finish calmly to put Llan ahead. Llan could have doubled their lead on 20 minutes when a Tom Evans shot struck the far post. Flint were dominating possession still but were not causing Llan too many problems. On 30 minutes the home centre forward made a good turn on the edge of the box but Jimmy made a comfortable save. Then on the stroke of half time, some good work from Iwan resulted in a cross that just evaded Marc Griffiths.

Flint had a good chance to equalise early in the second half but Marc Griffiths was on hand to clear the ball off the line. On 49 minutes Flint equalised with a free kick that was floated to the far post and was strongly headed in. Flint were now on top and Jimmy was called into action on 51 minutes to thwart the next attack. Llan were still looking dangerous on the break though. Good work from Khyam Wyton resulted with a cross that Iwan headed and was well saved by the keeper. A minute later Flint took the lead after a good save from Jimmy fell to the centre forward who calmly slotted in.. An Iain Edmunds free kick caused confusion and a Tom Bailey header was cleared on 65 minutes. Jimmy was once again called into action on 69 minutes with a good double save. Two minutes later the home keeper did well to thwart Marc Griffiths getting to the ball, and was injured in the process. On 75 minutes a Iwan shot was deflected onto the bar. The home side then had a player sent off on 80 minutes. Llan were now on top - Marc shooting wide on 85 minutes while a Iwan Matthews cross was headed wide by Khyam Wyton on 90.
