Llan finished their league campaign in excellent weather in front of a large crowd. Llan started the game brightly and were putting the young Bangor side under pressure. They took a deserved lead on 19 minutes when Marc Griffiths scored from wide on the left wing with a strike from 30 yards. Some will call it worldie while others will say it was a fluke - I'll give Marc the benefit of the doubt! Llan were in the ascendancy but they needed to be on their mettle at the back. On 25 minutes Jimmy Hayns made a good save when he palmed a lob over the bar. Then inside the space of a couple of minutes Llan fashioned a couple of chances. Firstly Marc again found himself clear down the left. When well placed he decided to cross and Matt Jones was unable to apply the finish. Soon after good build up play saw Iwan Matthews in the clear. Unfortunately after rounding the keeper the ball wouldn't sit for him to finish.
