The Pumas enter into the new season in a confident mood.
The summer programme and pre-season training has gone well with new players and old getting excellent sessions from our dedicated coaching team. The Pumas have consistently been getting 25-35 players training each Tuesday and Thursday but were rewarded with 40+ members at training last night.
With the nights drawing in the Pumas have invested in new LED lighting to illuminate a much bigger area at our training site to accommodate all the training pods being run.
Director of Rugby and Head Coach Al Palmer says, "The coaching team first met to plan our season back in May. On the back of a strong pre-season and some really encouraging recruitment we saw an impressive 40 turn out for training last night. We start the season with a Cup match against Overton at the weekend with confidence high. However we will not meet our potential if we experience poor player availability, so please make yourself available. Stepping up a level means exactly that!"
If you want to be a Puma contact George Winch (email@example.com) or just turn up to train, you will be most welcome.
