TEN MAN LODDS HANG ON TO TAKE THE WIN

Fantastic performance from the greens with 110% effort put in by all the lads. Lodds starting brightly moving the ball about and deserved to go into a 1-0 lead when ben tapper scored a screamer from the edge of the box. Ipplepen got back into the game and put us under pressure and on 20 mins played a man through only for Adam tapper to pull him back and receive a red card. So down to ten men lodds rallied together with Matt Duffy and Dave poyser organising and defending valiantly. Ipplepen equalised just after half time through a sweet strike into the bottom corner. With ipplepen pushing and pressing forward it was a hard task keeping them at bay. Then on 70 mins rob tapper beat 3/4 men on the right wing to find the superb returning Mark Edmond's who again squared it to super sub edd Roberts who dummies past one defender to shoot down into the bottom corner ( with his right foot!!!!) Again ipplepen pushed but lodds defence stood firm fantastically to earn the greens a well deserved 3 points
