At London Scottish U14s, we live by our one-club ethos: train together, play together, support one another, and always act as one team.
Our squad is a diverse group of committed players, ranging from those who’ve been with the club since U5 to newcomers finding their stride. What sets us apart is our inclusivity—every player has a place to thrive.
We’re a competitive yet welcoming team, driven by a coaching staff that includes ex-rugby and current professional players. Our meticulously planned sessions focus on strength and conditioning, skills development, and game play, ensuring players grow in every aspect of the sport. We train midweek and on weekends, compete in friendlies, tournaments, and the Surrey Waterfall Cup, and wrap up the season with a tour for our entire junior squad. Win or lose, we play and learn as one team.
Our connection to the London Scottish pro team is strong, with pro players assisting in training and our U14s supporting as ball boys at home matches.
But it’s not just about the boys. Our U14 community of parents plays a crucial role, supporting both on and off the field. From regular socials to helping with training and fundraising events like our ‘Mums and Sons’ ballboy initiative, our parent community helps build the confidence and camaraderie of the squad. Parents and even grandparents join us on tour, contributing to the team’s growth.
Whether you're playing in your school’s team or new to the game, we welcome you to join us.
We train Sundays from 11:30-13:30 and midweek on Wednesdays from 18:30-19:30 at King’s House Sports Ground (W4 2SH).
