The C Lions are the newest addition to the London Scottish Lions Club – the amateur senior men’s section of the proud London Scottish family, which has offered rugby for all levels since 1878. Founded in 2018, the Lions have gone from strength to strength, with our 1st XV (Lions) achieving five promotions in every full season played and our Lions B’s (2nd XV) recently crowned Middlesex Merit Premier champions. Now, thanks to our growing squad, the C Lions are stepping up too. After playing friendlies last season, they’ll be competing weekly in the Middlesex Merit Division 2 league for the 2025/26 season – ensuring everyone who wants to play has a place on the pitch every weekend. Whether you’re an ex-international, an ambitious young player, or someone keen to enjoy social rugby once a month, there’s a spot for you – and no, you don’t need to be Scottish!
The C Lions train alongside the rest of the club on Wednesday evenings from 8:00–9:30pm at Kings House Sports Ground, Riverside Drive, Chiswick, London, W4 2SH (What3Words: amuse.truck.coins).
