Code of Conduct
THE HEALTH AND SAFETY OF ALL THOSE INVOLVED WITH LOUDWATER FOOTBALL CLUB COMES ABOVE ALL ELSE AND IT IS THE RESPONSIBILITY OF ALL MEMBERS TO ENSURE THAT THEIR CONDUCT DOES NOT JEOPARDISE THE HEALTH, SAFETY OR ENJOYMENT OF OTHERS
All adults (parents/carers, officials and coaches) are expected to:

All adults (parents/carers, officials and coaches) are expected to:
1. Ensure that their conduct towards each other, officials, opponents and players sets a good example
2. Respect the referees decisions
3. Treat all players equally regardless of ability
4. Avoid coaching the child during the game
5. Praise effort and performance above results and not have unrealistic expectations
6. Understand and respect the laws of the game and other official guidelines
7. Support team effort
8. Remember that football is a game which should be fun and beneficial for all players
9. Encourage the development of players in a positive manner
10. Treat victory and defeat equally
11. Praise the opposing team as you would your own.
12. Parents/carers additionally are expected to:
13. Contact the coach at the earliest opportunity if there are issues they wish to discuss
14. Ensure that players are brought to their coaching venue not later than five minutes before commencement of training and to return no later than ten minutes before the scheduled end of training
15. Notify the manager/coach as early as possible of any planned absence
16. Ensure players selected for matches and tournaments are brought to the venue on time and with the correct kit.
17. Coaches and Club Officials additionally are expected to:
18. Respect the rights and dignity and worth of each and every person and treat each equally within the context of the sport
19. Develop the team and each individual player to the best of their ability
20. Adhere to all guidelines laid down by governing bodies
21. Provide a safe environment with correct and safe equipment and practice sessions and activities appropriate to the ages of the players
22. Place the well-being and safety of each player above all other considerations, including the development of performance
23. Display consistently high standards of behaviour and appearance
24. Not to use or tolerate inappropriate language
25. Be fully aware of the Clubs Child Protection policy
26. Not exert undue influence to obtain personal benefit or reward
27. Players are expected to:
28. Demonstrate respect for opponents, officials, Club members and each other
29. Respect the referees decisions
30. Demonstrate commitment and team spirit to develop their ability and that of the team
31. Understand and abide by the laws of the game and not seek to gain advantage through unfair means, including the use of banned substances
32. Treat victory and defeat equally
33. Remain in the Clubhouse after training if being collected, unless other arrangements have been made
34. Look after Club property, equipment and the pavilion.Not damage the pavilion and report any damage to the team manager/coach
35. Behave in an appropriate manner whether playing at home, away, at tournaments or on tour in order to uphold the good name of the Club and soccer.
36. All Club members and players have a duty to agree to and adhere to the Code of Conduct. Observing it will ensure that young people will be supported in a safe and enjoyable environment free of unnecessary pressures.
