This week Boro travelled to Cosby and with an apparent Chinese in waiting, Boro had a sqaud with no less than seven front rows! With a strong squad, Boro started the game sloppily, but after about twenty minutes they managed to get their backs into the game and Killian Wilson scored in the corner. The conversion was missed.

At the restart the Cosby Fly Half grubber kicked the ball straight to Jack Percival who made a good run before offloading. The ball came into the backs and got out to Mark Etherington who used his pace to run in under the posts, the conversion was slotted, 0-12 Boro.

The game continued to be scrappy and after some indiscipline, Boro conceded a penalty in their 22. Cosby went for the points and slotted the simple kick, 3-12. Cosby continued to fightback and managed to score an unconverted try before half time to make the score 8-12 at the break.

Boro started the second half slowly but were first to score when Andy Jones went over, converted by Killian Wilson. Boro then started to pull away with Ross Morgan breaking and passing outside to Mark Etherington who ran in under the posts, this was converted to make it 8-26 to Boro.

Boro then scored almost immediately after, with Morgan again getting the ball and passing it out to Etherington, this time Mark passed inside for Ross to break and run under the posts. After scoring, Ross was told by a couple of players to take a quick drop goal conversion, Ross naively did so, however the resulting kick only managed to go approximately one metre forwards, think it goes down as a miss!? Back in the forwards next week mate? 8-31 Boro.

Killian Wilson was next to break for Boro, but after being one-on-one with Cosby's last man, the Fly Half decided to try a back heel kick over the top, it however didn't pay off as he missed his foot and dropped the ball on the floor! Idiot! Cosby then took managed to get the ball into Boro's half and score their only try of the second half when their Fly Half went in under the posts. It was converted to make it 15-31.

Mark Etherington managed to complete Boro's scoring, going down under the posts again, with the conversion being slotted to make the final score 15-38 to Boro.

Special Mentions go to:
Rhys 'Handbags' Kearton: Some good try-saving tackles and a big hand off.
Ross Morgan: Played well in the centres, which isn't surprising as that's where he normally is when he's playing back row anyway! Drop goal conversion king.
Mark Etherington: Ran well for his Hat trick, but did some mouthing off to the ref as well, tut tut!
Killian Wilson: Had a good game apart from his terrible attempt at a kick.

Man of the Match: James Busby. Controlled the game well and managed to make a few good breaks.
