The Moes will be looking to secure back-to-back league wins for the first time on Saturday, as they face Newcastle Town at the ADT Stadium.

Revenge is also on the cards for the defeat inflicted by tomorrow’s opponents back in December when Newcastle Town secured their first home win of the season with a 2-1 triumph over Lee Attenborough’s side.

Dynamo recorded an impressive 1-0 victory over Frickley Athletic last time out, with Curtis Burrows getting the all-important winner from the penalty spot, a goal which took his personal tally into double figures. Depending on over results, Loughborough could move as high as tenth with a win on Saturday.

Last time out

Newcastle Town secured a much-needed victory on 14th December, with James Askey and Ryan McLean grabbing the goals which condemned Dynamo to their seventh away defeat of the season.

On the opposition

Newcastle Town suffered their ninth home defeat last time out, as Lincoln United increased the gap between the two sides to seven points with a 1-0 win.

Robin Van der Laan’s side sit just six points off the drop in 17th, losing two of their last three games, despite that run including an impressive comeback win against promotion chasers Cleethorpes Town at the Linden Club.

Despite having a relatively underwhelming season to date, Loughborough will be aware of the fact that the Staffordshire club have more wins on their travels than they do on their home patch.
