Coaching Vacancies

The club participates in the Leicestershire Senior League Division One and plays their home games at The Drome, Cotton Way in Loughborough.

We require our coaches to be available for training (at the ground) on Wednesday evenings and on matchdays. Both vacancies are voluntary roles, but expenses will be covered and training kit will also be provided.

These roles will suit those with previous experience in the senior game or who have recently qualified as a coach and looking for more experience or a new challenge. Full support will be offered and further opportunities to develop as a coach.

First Team Coach

This role will require the coach to work closely with our first-team playing squad. The ideal candidate will have an FA coaching qualification, be a strong communicator and be confident at delivering sessions. This role will include:

• Leading training sessions as a squad, small groups or with individuals
• Identify potential coaching areas and plan sessions
• Lead matchday warm-up exercises and cool-downs after games
• Have strong communication and teamwork skills
• Support the First Team manager and other staff on match-days

First Team Goalkeeping Coach

The ideal candidate will have previous experience playing senior football as a goalkeeper. An FA Goalkeeping coaching qualification is also desirable. This role will include:

• Leading individual goalkeeper training sessions
• Identify potential coaching areas and plan sessions
• Lead matchday goalkeeper specific warm-ups
• Offer support and guidance to all Goalkeepers within the club
• Support the First Team manager and other staff on match-days
