Loughborough United Football Club held a charity football match to raise money for Motor Neuron Disease Association. From this they raised a total of £1430 to this worthwhile cause. The game was in honour and memory to Steve Black who died from this terrible disease. He was Chairman at the time but he was one of the founding members of club and played for over 25 seasons. He was club captain for most of those years and a well respected member of this club and also in the local footballing community.
