L&Y vs Watton

With such bitter cold and windy conditions at Lowestoft and Yarmouth Rugby club the young side took to the pitch full of determination after last week's win at lakenham.
With only a few changes to the side, the team looked positive and ready to go.
Prior to the game some of the players had been taking part in a flash mob in lowestoft high street, helping one of our players,
Leon Culley propose to his girlfriend Clo Clancy and she said yes. We wish them many years of happiness.
The kick off was at 3 o'clock and despite the cold conditions we had many loyal supporters.
First on to the score sheet for L&Y was Euan Robinson with some fantastic passing in these conditions to score 5 points and Jack walker taking the kick for a further 2 points.
Next to score was Taylor Anderson, after some strong running and use of his pace out side he scored over the try line. And secured another 2 points from Jack walker from a well taken kick.
Watton then came back strong and caught L&Y off guard and scored near the post.
The 2nd half Lowestoft and Yarmouth were playing into the wind but this did not stop us and our new player Jordan Yates scored supported by some hard work from the pack that helped Jordan over the line.
Watton then came back playing out wide to score again.
Harry Norman finished the scoring for the afternoon with a massive run down the side line beating the defence with his speed.
Man of the match went to Jordan Yates for his 1st match and scoring on his debut.
