Great performance at Glen Jnrs

Under 10 Pinks put in a strong performance against local team Glen Juniors

The pinks made the very short journey across Morley where they put on an excellent display. All 8 players put in 100% as they battled non stop for the full 50 minutes.

The game was close with both teams creating chances, but with 2 top class saves from our no 1 Joe Bragg, as well as a strong back 2 made up of Jack and Max who we're on top form today, we kept the score level.

The Midfield worked tirelessly, Sam Bragg was up and down the pitch like a rocket! He looked sharp as he pressed forward causing problems for Glen's defence linking up well with our striker Lucas who showed great skill when on the ball causing problems going forward. Sam Jamieson remained strong but calm as he opened up play passing the ball well. Tom and Rowan continued to battle, they played a big part in helping out the defence.

Eventually all the hard work paid off in the 2nd half when Jack fired the ball into the box from a corner only to come off a Glen player and into the bottom corner of the net to make it 1-0 to the pinks!

Close game but the pinks looked the stronger in the 2nd half and thoroughly deserved the win.

Player of the match was awarded to Max Cullingworth who was a machine in defence today, the opposition struggled to get past him and he was first to the ball everytime! Superb performance ?
