Excellent display from all

The Under 11 Whites today entertained Pudsey Juniors in their first game in Division 4 after their second promotion of the season.

The game was played in an excellent spirit against a good footballing Pudsey side with all those in Pink outstanding throughout the 60 minutes of football.

Pudsey were possibly the better team in the first half with the defensive pairing of Alex and Josh superb in keeping the opposition at bay with the midfield of Ryan , Dan , Dylan and Lucas working hard in front of them however half time saw Pudsey going a goal up at the break.

The second saw the Pinks growing in to the game more and were soon back on level terms when Ryan fired home from the edge of the box.

The Pinks went a goal up almost immediately from the restart when Gustav tried his luck from way out to see his shot fly over the keeper in to the net .......a goal of the season contender!

The Pinks third came courtesy of an unlucky own goal from the opposition keeper when the ball was played in to Gustav who shot hitting the angle of post and crossbar to see the ball cannon off the woodwork and in to the opposition goalkeepers head and in to the net.

Although Pudsey pressed the Pinks defended superbly from front to back to see the game out.

Overall an excellent performance from a team who worked their socks off for each other made even more remarkable with having players missing through injury seeing them down to the bare bones in numbers.

Great start to a new division from a team who are having a great season.

Well done lads
