Under 10 Pinks play Glen Juniors

Under 10 pinks back in action after the Christmas break

First game of the new year saw us welcome local team Glen Juniors

The pinks started well looking sharp and were unfortunate to not go ahead.

Glen soon stepped up and began to pile on the pressure which resulted in them winning a penalty, Joe made a good attempt to stop the ball hitting the back of the net but the penalty was well taken as it flew into the bottom corner.

Both teams battled on, playing some excellent football with good movement on and off the ball. The pitch wasn't great which made it difficult to pass the ball which became frustrating for the players at times!

The 2nd half was similar with both teams creating chances but it was Glen who managed to put there chances away, the pinks began to tire which gave Glen the opportunity to press and score a further 2 goals.

Sam Jamieson was awarded player of the match for his passing and receiving of the ball which encouraged players to move around to support him. We would like to welcome Max to the team who played his first game today, Max played in midfield where he worked tirelessly making brave and crucial tackles.

We would also like to say a big happy 10th birthday to Sam Bragg, have a fab day Braggy!!
