Its been a busy season for the colts so far and a good one for the squad as a whole. With a strong leadership and coaching team the side has not only been busy with club games but players within the squad have played district, county and senior rugby. We are proud to have seen our youth players represent Rugby & District, Warwickshire & Leicestershire, and at home, Lutterworth Senior teams 1st, 2nd and 3rds.
Currently Colts are 2nd in the Leicestershire league, behind Market Harborough recording five wins of the seven games played. The next league game is this Saturday 4th February; Lutterworth Colts XV vs Coalville U18s, KO 2.15pm.
This season the Leicestershire Colts league is divided into two pool, A and B, Lutterworth in B. In pool A Leicester Forest East are currently leading the way.
Leicestershire Colts County Cup is also underway with Lutterworth recording a win in the quarter finals against Syston (46-12). They go through to the semi finals on 4th March (opponents to be confirmed).
The Leicestershire U17s County cup is now underway for first year Colts. Lutts U17s are through to the quarter finals vs Leicester Forest East which will be played this coming Wednesday 8th February against Leicester Forest East, KO 7pm.
