Lee and Lardy –

LF - “Another disappointing day, we will not get better chances to win away from home after dominating the first half. I cannot believe the performance after last week, we had virtually the same team and a similar shift would easily have seen off this top opposition. We played some good rugby in the first period, we were always in control and managing the game really well. The opposition had no answer and were running out of ideas; however, we just did not take the chances that came along. Ok a couple of unlucky bounces that would have seen easy scores but we created plenty and should have been out of sight by half time. You would not believe it was the same team in the second half, our game management was poor and we dropped numerous passes. Ok the referee was making some strange decisions and giving numerous penalties against us but you just have to learn and manage the game accordingly. Today we have only ourselves to blame, our discipline in the second half cost us the game. We will need to learn from this and be back on our game in two weeks’ time”

DE – “Our away form is killing us this season, the performance in the second half was simply not good enough, we had a good game plan and dominated the first half but after conceding a few penalties after the break, a lack of discipline crept in which lead to numerous penalties that undoubtedly cost us the points today. We played very well in the first half and were a bit unlucky not to score more try’s but with the amount of opportunities some poor decisions saw us spurn numerous chances which was to prove decisive. Yes, we have numerous players missing with injuries but this side is good and should have secured a win today”
