Lee and Lardy –

Interviews by Roger Pike

LF - “A great result and a good 5 points, very pleased with the discipline we showed, they came to break up the game and slow everything down to use their big pack. We kept to our plan of high intensity play with pace, but it became very disjointed with their tactics and some of the on-field decisions constantly stopping play. The forwards put a good shift in today against a big pack but it was our defence that was most pleasing, as we gave them nothing and only concede one try all day. To again score over 30 points and a bonus point win just demonstrates how far we have come this season and we have a strong squad now capable of promotion next season. Our last game away in Cornwall will be tough to promotion chasing Launceston but the way we are playing we should fear nobody”

DE – “a very workman like performance gave us another win. We perhaps were not at the pace of previous weeks but the visitor’s tactics combined with the official’s decisions created numerous stoppages which disrupted our rhythm. They had a big pack and wasted time at every opportunity, we needed to move the ball around as was clear we were dangerous with our better pace. Overall, we had a good game plan, were totally dominate and ran out deserved winners. It would be a fitting end to continue our winning run and beat Launceston in our final game who are in a promotion place.
Clearly recent results have demonstrated this team is ready for promotion next season and I would encourage any new players who want to join a club offering great rugby and top facilities to contact me in the coming weeks”
