Former Town player and Golden Boot winner Richard Kear has agreed to take the manager's position for the coming season.
Rich brings with him a massive amount of playing experience and he holds a Uefa B coaching licence.
Apart from his time with Lydney, Kear is better known from his time in the pro game with Cheltenham Town, along with stints at Weston-super-Mare, Chippenham Town on loan, as well as spells at Cirencester Town, Cinderford Town, Yate Town, Gloucester City, Swindon Supermarine, Almondsbury Town and Westfields.
