2 wins and 2 defeats over the weekend

The first team's poor run of results continued on Saturday when high flying Malvern Town beat them 3-0. The defeat sees them drop below Tuffley into second bottom after they managed an away win, 3-2 at Chipping Sodbury.

On a lighter note both the Reserves and 3rd teams hit 5 goals each.
Morsey's men were involved in a 9 goal thriller at Andoversford that saw them take a 3-0 lead. Josh Matthews opened the scoring before Jarred and the returning Brad Kear added 2 more. The hosts fought back before the break and amazingly they also scored 3 times to ensure it was level at half time.

The same continued in the second period, Kear put Lydney in front only for Andoversford to level it again. Not to be denied Town's fighting spirit shone through and Brad completed his hattrick in a 5-4 win.

Down the Recreation ground Lydney's `A` team thumped 5 past Soudley Reserves. The goals were shared out with Tom Cullinane, Jordan Voss, Kai Morgan, Luke Underwood and Keaton Morse all grabbing one each.

Our newly formed 4th team lost a close encounter at Ross Juniors 4-3. Their goals coming from Brad Morgan, Joe Dallow and Joe Hale.
