Winning streak ends

After sweeping all sides before them in the Reg Davis Cup league play offs our Reserves fell to a decent Cheltenham Civil Service side on Wednesday evening, going down 2-0 at home.
The first half was dominated by the goalkeepers. Both lads making superb stops preventing certain goals. Inevitably the half ended goalless but was end to end from the off.

The visitors eventually made the breakthrough late on when Middleton won a race with Ellis Boughton and the ball rebounded favorably for him to tap home.
Town's response was a fantastic move involving, Morgan and Powell ending in Jacob English not being able to keep his shot down and it powered over the bar.
Middleton scored a breakaway second right on the whistle.

It was an entertaining game that could have gone either way, and there could have been a possible red card for the away keeper in the first half but the referee preferred a yellow.

We would like to wish CCS all the best in the semi-final.
