Hellenic Div 2 West side Faringdon Town provide Lydney's first Cup opposition in this season's BlueFin League Cup 1st Round.
Faringdon finished in 8th spot last season, winning 7, losing 12 and drawing 3 of their 22 league games.

The club is certainly progressive, having achieved Chartered Standard accreditation they currently run a junior section consisting of sides from Under 8's through to Under 17's.
