After a successful 2019 campaign and promotion to South Premier 2, the MHC Mens pre-season schedule has been confirmed to start on Tuesday 6th AUGUST 2019:
Sessions are open to any NEW and EXISTING players targeting MENS 1ST & MENS 2ND teams as well as University Students.
TUESDAYS - 6th, 13th, 20th & 27th August - 7.30pm-9.30pm
Stick and ball based fitness, skills, patterns and small games
SATURDAYS - 10th, 17th, 24th & 31st August - 10.30am-12pm
Dynamic/conditioning/explosive fitness exercises, set pieces, small games with variation
From September 2019:
TUESDAYS 8-10pm - Building on formations, playing patterns, set pieces & tactics
SATURDAYS 7th, 14th & 21st - Competitive Friendly fixtures.
All sessions at ALTWOOD SCHOOL water based surface.
It is the expectation of the 1st team head coach and 1st team captain that all senior players complete at least one additional aerobic session per week. Plans can be provided on request.
Team selection will be based on player performance from the 8 sessions throughout August as we do not believe in judging new players on a single 'trial' session.
