Maidenhead Nomads got revenge on Pinkneys Green thanks to a well disciplined and battling performance. After soaking up a bit of early pressure, most of it coming from the tricky Chris Collins, nomads grew into the game and started to play the better football and create chances. The break through finally came on the hour mark when the tireless Sam Campbell's cross found sub Tom Davies who finished clinically. The second came soon after when after good work down the left by Ian Henry to find Andy Purdy who’s perfect cross was met by Sam Campbell who finished with a smart half volley. Nomads defensive stability and shape was key to the win and with the unbeatable Terry Salmon producing a captains performance just in from of the back four, the result was never in doubt.
