Pre match build up on social media set this clash up to be a feisty cup affair and an early coming together between Clements and the Fulmer number 9 set the match off to a heated start. Things soon calmed down though, with both teams letting their football do the talking.
Town were forced into a tactical change prior to kick off with Holland replacing in form Lomas, who picked up a toe injury in the warm up. Holland made the most of his unexpected start with a goal from the first Town corner, volleying in after a neat Burley flick on. Two goals in two games for the winger.
Town stepped things up, with a great passage of passing play being finished off in style from the edge of the box by Jeffries. A first time strike with the outside of his left foot beat the keeper on his near post. The third goal came from another dangerous Jeffries corner, this time it was Burley, rising above the Fulmer defenders to score his first of the season.
The best goal was arguably saved until the end, with the ball falling to Angel 20 yards from goal, who unleashed a first time strike, beating the keeper at his near post.
Another rampant performance from the Town who’ll be looking to take this kind of form into their next game vs. Penn & Tylers Green
