Maidenhead United were pleased to hear the Government’s decision to allow the return of supporters to sporting venues from 3rd December.

We are obviously excited by the prospect of welcoming our loyal fans back to York Road, but have a responsibility to do so in line with the specific requirements of Government, the FA, the National League and the local authority. We have already started discussions with these organisations to understand their requirements so that we can take the necessary steps to ensure the safe return of supporters and quickly determine the number fans we will be able to welcome to York Road.

It is important to set expectations regarding attendance levels from the outset. Our objective will be to provide a safe environment for supporters with appropriate social distancing measures, which means we expect to have a significantly reduced capacity. Priority to attend games will first be given to our Gold 150 Club Members. Silver 150 Club Members will be given first priority to purchase match day tickets should they be available.

We will issue further updates on matches, ticket information and new match day protocols as soon as we have them available. In the meantime, we would ask fans to monitor our social media, newsletters and the website for updates and refrain from making direct contact with the club until further information is available.
