Maidenhead United FC is excited to announce the opportunity is now available to become the first team front of shirt sponsor for 2019/20 season and beyond. These are exciting times for the Maidenhead United FC, with the first team playing at the highest level in the club’s history in the National League, with a growing supporter base.
The club has recently announced the establishment of its new Juniors section, making Maidenhead United FC one of the biggest community sports clubs in the Thames Valley which will see nearly 500 children and young people playing football with the club locally.
The front of shirt sponsorship is a fantastic opportunity for a business which is looking for increased exposure for television and wider press/media exposure at a national, regional and local levels and alongside the opportunity to partner with family focussed club which engages widely across the Maidenhead and wider community.
The front of shirt sponsor will become one of the club’s principle business partners and will access a range of benefits including corporate Logo on both front and away shirts, pitch side and main stand advertising boards, corporate hospitality and invite to our successful ‘Business Connect’ events held throughout the season.
This season’s front shirt sponsor has been Utility Alliance, a north east-based energy consultancy, who has enjoyed increased exposure in and around the Maidenhead area as a direct result of the sponsorship. While the company will continue to back the football club moving forward, the end of the agreement means there is now an opportunity for a replacement business to take over the sponsorship of the Magpies’ home and away kits.
Darren Sutherland, CEO at Utility Alliance, said: “We have built up an fantastic relationship with Maidenhead United FC since teaming up with them last summer, and we have committed to continue to build our relationship with the club next season and beyond as we look to increase our profile in the south east. Therefore we would like another business to have the opportunity to benefit like we have in being the front of shirt sponsor”.
“Over the last few years we have sponsored several football clubs and, despite being based more than 200 miles away in Hartlepool, this has been our most effective partnership. Throughout the year we have felt a valued partner, with the club working hard to recognise and publicise our sponsorship; keep us up to date with developments of the club and their commercial partners and we have been welcomed into various business networking events which have enabled us to create new relationships.”
“We are still a relatively new business having set up in 2015, but we have enjoyed rapid growth on a national level – particularly over the last year – and the link up with Maidenhead United has been a key factor behind that. Even though our one-year deal is drawing to a close, we have already agreed to continue to back the club next season and would be more than happy to talk about the benefits of front of shirt sponsorship to any businesses looking to raise their profile through exposure with Maidenhead United."
Sian Lancaster, Commercial Partnership Manager at Maidenhead United, added: “We have an excellent, mutually beneficial relationship with Utility Alliance and are grateful for their continued commitment to our partnership in the coming seasons.”
“We are excited about the opportunity to develop a new partnership with a next season’s front of shirt sponsor and feel confident we can offer same benefits and added value enjoyed by Utility Alliance over the last year. We look forward to hearing from any interested parties.”
