Dilon Ashton collapsed suddenly on the field of play and was taken to hospital by ambulance. The latest news is that Dilon is currently in Salford Royal Hospital in the Cardiac Centre undergoing a series of tests and the club, players and spectators wish him a speedy recovery. As we receive more information we will update the website.

We would also like to thank the quick response of the Winnington player who sprinted over when he saw Dilon collapse as everybody else followed the play and he waved on additional support which saw Winnington substitute Adam Blades run on and take control whilst our first aiders got there
