A strong crowd of 372 spectators watched on, as the Jammers suffered their first away defeat in the league under Wayne Brown since30 March 2019, a run of 17 games spanning 4 seasons. Since taking charge of the club, Brown has managed 35 away games, losing just two including this defeat against Hashtag United.
The Jammers found themselves behind in the 27th minute, with a penalty from Kris Newby. After a positive reaction in the second half, Brown's side had two efforts cleared off the line, before the home side scored twice in the last five minutes of the contest as the Jammers pushed for an equaliser.
Lee Hursit scored from a long-range quick free kick in the 86th minute without the Referee blowing his whistle, before Jesse Waller-Lassen completed the scoring in the 90th minute as he completed a solo run from his own half, as the Jammers had pressed forward trying to find a way back in to the contest.
