Wiltshire Cricket Women in Committee Roles Opportunity - for any lady interested in getting more involved in the club in any volunteer role

Wiltshire Cricket Training Opportunity: Women’s Volunteer Network workshop

Good afternoon all,

With the season coming to a close, we are fast approaching AGM season. Ahead of this, we have noticed that a small proportion of elected club committee members across the county are female. We want to increase the female representation on committees to diversify voices that have a say in club strategies to offer another perspective.

Our next Women’s Volunteer Network workshop, Women in Committee Roles, will cover a variety of topics aiming to give women the confidence to get more involved in club operations and discuss the current barriers they feel they face and what more can be done to overcome them.

Details are in the attached poster as well as down below. Please distribute this to anyone you believe may be interested in attending and spread the word, especially as the workshop is entirely FREE!

Who is this for? Women at cricket clubs who want to get more involved in volunteering and want to build confidence in their skills and knowledge around committee and volunteer roles.

Where and when is it? The workshop will be held at Avebury Cricket Club on Tuesday 22nd September 6:30-8/8:30

Please may we ask those wanting to attend fill out this interest form below:

WVN - Women in Committee Roles Workshop – Fill in form

I look forward to seeing those attending the event next month.

Many thanks,

Isla
