Cheshire Premier League
The team picked up from where it left off the previous season, with a young team struggling in the early stages. Our inspirational captain, Alex Hughes, led by example and with the addition of some extra experience, manager Tommy Lloyd and his management team got the team playing with great spirit, determination and style. One defeat in nine final games, saw our team gain the League's Runners-Up trophy. This is the highest position that the club has acheived in its 33 year association with the Cheshire Football League (formerly Mid-Cheshire Football League). Alex Hughes also won the coveted Player of The Season trophy as well as the Golden Boot for his magnificent tally of 41 goals, a truly remarkable record.
