Mangotsfield's friendly against Melksham Town ended five minutes early following innocent tackle. With just five minutes to go Mangotsfield Rohan Nelson and Melksham keeper Conner Johns both committed to a tackle just outside of the visitors 18 yard box. Both players required immediate attention but unfortunately Rohan appears to have broken his leg. The youngster, who has just been released from Bristol City, was treated by the ambulance medics and taken to hospital, but Mangotsfield would like to extend a huge thank you to all the players and management for their support following the incident.
The game was very quickly ended following the incident which Mangotsfield were leading 2-1 after falling behind five minutes into the second half. An Issac Flynn goal in the 77th minute gave "The Field" the equalizer whilst an own goal four minutes later gave the hosts the lead.
