After much consideration, I regret to inform everyone connected with Mangotsfield United Football Club, I have resigned from my position as First Team Manager, after my position has become untenable.

I am a man of principal and have set standards that I work to achieve. Throughout my time as MUFC Manager, I have faced many challenges, all of which, up to now, I have taken in my stride. However, it’s got to the point where enough is enough and I can no longer keep producing miracles.

I would like to place on record my thanks to the Chairman & Directors for giving me the opportunity to manage MUFC and I have relished the experience, and whilst it’s been very challenging, I’ve enjoyed some great moments.

Where I have got most satisfaction is giving a number of young players the chance to play Southern League Football, and I hope I’ve contributed to helping them develop as players, but, more importantly, as men.
