Coward Cup First Round

•Daen Ingas secured their passage into round two with a 3-1 win over Bicknacre. They will play either Heybridge Social or Ongar United in the next round.

Premier Division League Cup First Round
•Highfield Victoria came out on top in the big clash against Priory Sports as they eventually romped to a 5-2 victory. James Brady opened the scoring with a towering header before the hosts equalised. Kevin Hawes and Darran Hawes put them 3-1 up before half-time but Priory hit back with a second goal. This provoked Vics into further action as they settled it with another goal from Brady and new signing from Goldhanger, Lee Ifield sealed the win.

Division One League Cup First Round
•Woodham Athletic are safely through to the next round as they destroyed Marconi Leisure 10-0. Their goalscorers were Dan Adams (two), Dan Morgan (two), Charlie Moss (two), Ben Price (two), Rich Canty and Nick Spires. Marconi are a side struggling for players after losing players to other clubs and injuries this season and their results have been significantly affected.
•William de Ferrers beat Little Waltham 4-1 away from home to arrange a meeting with Writtle Manor in round two. Terry Warwick (two), Dave Pattison and Matt Hearn were all on target in a dominant win.

Division Two League Cup First Round
•Francis Kyan scored a brace to put Rivermead in control against Great Baddow before they were pegged back in normal time. Extra time stayed at 2-2 and Rivermead won it on penalties.
•PSV Billericay saw off Brookhouse 2-0 away from home to go into round two. Their scorers were Michael Waugh and Paul Turner in a solid display from PSV.

Division Three League Cup First Round
•Aaron Baker and Alan Turner had Priory Sports Reserves 2-1 up at half-time to Margaretting but the hosts fought back to secure a 4-3 win after extra time.

Division Four League Cup First Round
•Marconi Leisure Reserves fought back from 3-1 down to draw level at full-time. Jordan Wright scored a brace and John Ptolomey scored from Marconi They won it on penalty kicks in a frantic game.
•Mannex MR narrowly beat Margaretting Reserves 1-0 to secure their passage into the next round in an excellent defensive display.
•In a game which could easily have been the cup final, Compasses edged out fellow cup favourites Wilvale Rangers in a five-goal thriller. It finished 3-2 between two good teams in this division.

League Premier Division
•Despite a Sam Bantick brace, Infield lost 3-2 to Baddow Spartak who earned their first victory of the season in a fantastic match. Infield remain rock bottom after five games.
•Heybridge Social defeated Broomfield 4-1 in a one-way contest. The visitors have lost their way in recent games as they find themselves in mid-table.

League Division One
•Southminster & Norton thrashed Walnut Tree 8-1 with goals from Lewis (two), Guppy, Westwood, Coombes, Murphy and a Mitchell penalty in a one-sided affair.
•Writtle Manor were in excellent form as they defeated Little Baddow 4-0. Joe Collins, Ben Cross, Will Bowen and Jamie Friend were all on target for them as they sit in third place.

League Division Two
•Woodham Athletic Reserves were once again on top form as they beat Ongar United Reserves 3-0 away from home. Scott Piper and Jack Williams had them two up at half-time before a late Sam Taylor strike wrapped up the three points for them.
•James Clark and Graham Jeater both scored as Redstones inflicted Springfield’s first defeat of the season in a top of the table clash. Redstones continued their 100% winning start after four appearances.

League Division Three
•William de Ferrers Reserves defeated Hanningfield 5-2 away from home to earn their first points of the season. Hanningfield remain in mid-table.
•Goals from Jack Harris and Luke Anderson couldn't prevent Old Chelmsfordians Reserves from losing 4-2 at home to Chelmer Wanderers. The visitors continued their excellent start to the campaign with 6 wins from 6 games with Danny Pettit grabbing a hat-trick and Aaron Redman also scoring.
•Woodham Radars comfortably beat Howbridge Swifts Reserves 5-1 with goals scored by Matt Chester, Gareth Clark, Andy Elliott, Ollie Belgrave and Paul Deller.

League Division Four
•Daen Ingas Reserves grabbed three vital points against Tulip Springfield in an outstanding contest. It finished 4-3 as they move up to fourth place as they continue their early promotion push.
•An eleven goal thriller was won by Hatfield Swan Inn Reserves as they beat Queens Park (Hannakins) 6-5 despite trailing 4-3 at half-time.

Essex Sunday Junior Trophy Second Round
•Broomfield Reserves are safely through to the next round after securing a 5-1 win against PD Athletic. Jake Stevens opened the scoring with a sublime volley into the bottom corner and Yari Morrison finished well after a mazy run to make it 2-0.Alex Dorrain finished off a fine move with a far post tap-in for 3-0 before the visitors pegged them back before half-time with a good goal. Jake Stevens completed the victory after Matt Stevens had made it 4-1 just five minutes in to the second-half.
