We started off the game quickly and we soon had Howbridge pinned back using our two wide men Craig and Mark, who were running fullbacks rugged.

After a few missed chances, Mark Goodhay opened the scoring with lovely shot over the opposing keeper from outside box. Very soon after it was 2-0, rob brady following up parried shot from
Pipesie.

Just before half time Pipesie got his first of season with tap in from another keeper parried shot.

HALF TIME 3-0

We started the second half slowly allowing Howbridge to score from long ball over top. That woke us up a bit and we went straight up their end and Pipesie scored with a deft clip into the far
corner after good work from mark on wing.

Howbridge came back at us and scored with a well constructed headed goal to make it 4-2. We didn't panic and we started
playing football again and soon made it 5-2 with sub Owen Jordan scoring after good work from Craig Spicer.

It was soon 6-2 with Pipsie getting his hatrick after chasing a lost
cause and beating the keeper to the ball and cooly slotting home. a bizarre goal from a corner allowed Howbridge to score their third, I still don't know if it was an own goal or if it
came off one of their players.

Pipesie wrapped up the scoring getting his fourth and our seventh in the last 5 minutes.

Overall it was a good performance now we have some of our players back.
