Mariners look to avenge last week's defeat...

Marine entertain Marske United in the BetVictor North West division this afternoon at the Marine Travel Arena.

This will be the second meeting in successive weekends between the two clubs, the North Yorkshire club's 4-1 victory last Saturday maintaining their unbeaten start to the season.

The Mariners will once again miss Niall Cummins and Daniel Hawkins through suspension, whilst Lloyd Marsh-Hughes is an injury doubt having been substituted during the first half at Marske. However Kenny Strickland returns following suspension and James Joyce is in contention to make his second home "debut" having rejoined the club last week.

Admission for today's game is £10 for adults and £5 concessions, with accompanied under-11s admitted free of charge. Holders of Everton, Liverpool & Tranmere Rovers season tickets will be admitted for half-price on production of the relevant season tickets at the turnstiles.

The Graham Lounge will be open as usual from midday for supporters of both clubs to enjoy a pre-match drink, with our special cask ale "Mighty Mariner 125", brewed locally by Stamps Brewery, once again on sale. The Graham Lounge will also be open following the game.

The club has extended its updated alcohol policy until Christmas Day, allowing spectators the option to enjoy a pint inside the MTA whilst watching today's match. Drinks must be purchased from the Arriva Suite bar which will be open between 1:30pm and 4:15pm, and consumed from plastic "glasses".

Finally, local charity An Hour For Others will be staging a bucket collection at today’s game, which will be co-ordinated by five of the charity’s volunteers.

An Hour For Others supports vulnerable people in Liverpool, and examples of its work includes offering to do DIY jobs for free to those that can't afford it, and raising funds to help under-privileged children go on holiday. The organisation has been running for five years and recently won “Charity of the Year” at the Liverpool Echo Awards.

Kick-off for today's game is at 3pm.
