Liverpool born Danny was previously with neighbours Skelmersdale United and signed for Marine in October 2015.He boasts a prolific goalscoring record, having scored 65 times in 102 games for Skelmersdale and Kendal Town and has now netted 75 times in 132 appearances for the Mariners to the end of last season.
Starting his youth career at Skelmersdale he moved in to the senior ranks with Blackpool, making his professional debut in October 2008 as a late substitute against Crystal Palace.
Danny had loan spells at Southport, Burscough and Wrexham before moving to Mansfield Town in November 2010. A further move to Altrincham in the summer of 2012 led to a loan spell at Marine, where he scored twice in four appearances.
A second loan took him to Kendal Town, 10 goals in 11 games led to a permanent move to the Mintcakes before he joined Skelmersdale United in 2014.
Signed a three year deal at the MTA in summer 2017 and won the Players' Player of the Season award in 2017-18.
