Darlaston were promoted at the beginning of this Season to the Midland Football League Premier Division; this being their highest level of football (Step 5) in their 148 years history.

Darlaston Town have certainly made an instant impression in the MFL Premier League currently occupying 3rd place in the League Table.

By contrast here at MDTFC having spent the last 13 years playing football at Step 4, following our relegation in 2021/22 we now find ourselves rooted to the bottom of the Step 5 League Table.

Darlaston Town, in climbing to 3rd place in the League, have amassed 32 Pts scoring 30 goals, conceding 18 and losing 4 games.

Unfortunately we have not won a League game since the opening day of the Season on the 13th August 2022 and losing 18 games in all competitions.

Since Richard and Chris returned to head the Management Team we have signed 12 new players and we are confident that we now have a squad of players that have the proven ability and experience to get the important results allowing us to climb up the ladder and out the relegation zone.
