Whilst two squads played at home in the the Harborough festival a mixed team travelled over to Banbury to play in their festival. The festival was run in a league format with 3 points for a win, 2 for a draw and 1 for a loss.

Following the long foggy journey the boys found they were placed in Pool 1 against oppositions we knew very little about as they were from Buck's, Oxfordshire, Berks etc so this was a good experience for them.

The boys quickly gelled and got their day off and running with a hard fought 3-0 victory following that up with 3-0,3-0,4-0 and 4-1 victories to top the pool and take the silverware.

The defensive shape was the highlight of the day with everyone making meaningful tackles only conceding 1 try all day.

This was a great performance and on the back of the all Harborough finals at South Leics and Hinckley festivals the trophy cabinet for the season is looking very healthy.
